The AHG Klinik Waren opened its doors as a clinic for psychosomatic rehabilitation and behavioural medicine on 1 September 2000. It sees itself as a regional and supra-regional specialist facility in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for the treatment of mental and psychosomatic illnesses, following an integrative behavioural therapy approach that takes equal account of medical and psychological measures.

The AHG Klinik Waren is a clinic with modern facilities and is part of the MEDIAN clinic group based in Berlin. The clinic has 200 treatment places in single rooms and some double rooms for couples and is located in the immediate vicinity of the spa gardens in the eastern part of the brine spa town of Waren, with a view of the Müritz, Germany's largest inland lake.

Equipment of the house + –

All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, telephone, TV and have a balcony. W-LAN, telephone and TV can be booked as a package or as individual services. The cafeteria with kiosk is open daily. A patient library is available. The swimming pool, sauna, ergometer room and fitness room can be used at certain times during leisure time.

Service and specialities + –

Admission of accompanying children aged 2-12 years. The children are looked after in the clinic's own day-care centre.

Location: in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District, surrounded by forests and idyllic lakes on the edge of the Müritz National Park. Extensive hiking and cycling tours as well as guided tours through the Müritz National Park are ideal for recreation and relaxation.

Local remedy: Waren brine, which is used in our physiotherapy.
