The Mönchgut Spa and Wellness Centre is part of the AKZENT Waldhotel Rügen hotel complex and was completed in spring 2010. It is only 300 metres from the beach and the town centre, and has direct access to the Amber Promenade. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful rose park of 15,000 square metres, with a view of the Baltic Sea, Kneipp treading pool and outdoor fitness equipment. The new 2,000 sqm wellness centre is equipped with a swimming pool and whirlpool, sauna world with Finnish sauna, steam bath, Solinarium, Tepidarium, Laconium, infrared cabin, Vitalisarium, solarium, cosmetics, physiotherapy, Kneipp and wellness treatments.
