150 years ago, the physician Dr. Erfurth chose the village of Feldberg, with its natural conditions, as the site for a hydropathic spa. He thereby laid the foundation for the development of health tourism in the region, which continues successfully today. Today, the multiple award-winning clinic is located by the Haussee lake in the grounds of the aforementioned health establishment. Situated in southern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, its diverse landscape of rolling hills, clear lakes, and old beech woods make it an inviting place to regenerate and recovery in nature, just the way Kneipp intended.
