Plant and seed exchange with planting station

Hobby gardeners and those who want to become one can discover new varieties at the plant and seed exchange, swap cuttings and offshoots of perennials or bring their own seeds or seedlings and offer them for exchange. At the pricking out station, everyone can try their hand at pricking out small tomato seedlings into larger flower pots. Once again, there will be a wide range of seed-resistant and regionally adapted tomato varieties from the seed library for participants to take home. After good care in the warmth of the windowsill, these plants can be planted out in the open or in containers on the patio or balcony as soon as there is no more threat of late frosts. With the activities around the seed library, the city library wants to draw attention to the 17 sustainability goals of Agenda 2030. Even on a small scale, you can make a big difference - every individual is asked to act sustainably, socially and ecologically in order to ensure a future worth living for future generations.

Participation is free of charge.
