From tower to tower

The guided hike ‘From Tower to Tower’ connects two points of interest in the Bay of Binz - the Granitz Hunting Lodge and the treetop walk in the Rügen Natural Heritage Centre in Prora. The route is around 13 kilometres long.

The tour begins at Granitz Hunting Lodge on the 107-metre-high Tempelberg and ends at the 40-metre-high treetop path (also known as the "Eagle's Nest") at the Rügen Natural Heritage Center in Prora. Along the route, there are fantastic views of nature. Accompanied by an expert nature guide, the tour takes you through the spring-like Granitz with its beech trees, moors and meadows, across the Devil's Gorge to the fishermen's beach, on along Putbuser Straße to Schmachter See, past the Fangerien through the DBU nature heritage area to the treetop path in Prora. Once you arrive at the Naturerbe Zentrum Rügen, you have the option of visiting the treetop walk individually (regular admission prices apply.
