For centuries, the town developed within its medieval boundaries. This changed in the 19th century with the settlement of the first craft and industrial businesses outside the old town boundaries. New transportation routes connected Waren (Müritz) with the big wide world. Railroads and shipping, the first industrial estates and the development of tourism are the topics of the guided cycle tour with Frank Korrmann.
