Binz

Binz on the island of Rügen, known for its white spa architecture, has stood for nature, enjoyment and well-being for many years. A day by the sea is pure relaxation.

The natural advantages of the Baltic seaside resort include above-average hours of sunshine, the long, fine-sand beach, the mild stimulating climate and the fresh, iodine-rich sea air. They are the ideal companions for rinsing, walking, hiking, jogging, Nordic walking or cycling.

The special location of the Baltic seaside resort, which is surrounded by the Baltic Sea and the beach as well as the extensive forest areas of the Schmalen Heide and the Granitz, provides excellent support for relaxation, healing or convalescence. The mixture of clean, salty air, cooling wind, high humidity, year-round moderate temperatures and plenty of sunlight creates a unique healing climate.

First-class hotels offer their special arrangements in Binz. Active ingredients from the sea and products from the region such as Rügen healing chalk, local sea buckthorn and the thermal brine spring in the Binz thermal baths are on the list of ingredients for relaxation and health.

Info: Binz is recognised by the Association of General Health Insurance Funds for outpatient cures. The Baltic seaside resort is not eligible for subsidies. It is recommended to make appointments with the spa doctor and physiotherapist in good time.
